I already have two SK03s with the 6500K Phillips Emitter. I bought this to pair with an Sk05 Pro 2 UV also with a Nichia 519a emitter. Initially I was a little disappointed with the significantly reduced runtimes of the RGB version especially as it is less bright than the other models. However after conducting some research I realized that the RGB version has far more side emitters AND the 519a emitter with its much higher CRI users far more power. Loopgear has kept this torch viable by changing the brightness modes to allow similar runtimes to the other models but at lower Lumens. They also gave us a 20 Lumen low mode in this model which is very practical and lasts over 30 hours. The RGB lights allow lots of effects, mood lighting etc and the lower Lumens are easier on the eyes. For the best brightness and runtime the basic model is the one to opt for but the RGB version is arguably more versatile. Having both gives you so many options. I would only ever carry one but having both in my drawer is nice.
