perfect
I've tried others like the Olight Marauder (all variations), Sofirn IF30, etc. I'll skip all the positives as there are many of those, and rightly so. I'll skip right to my suggestions... The switch/selector - found this slippery and can't quite change selection one handed. I modded mine by filing some grooves on the selector portion that provides traction. Day/night difference. Second suggestion would be, since it already have a bunch of different lighting option, why not an UV light. With these changes, it would be the #1 on my list, eventhou it's already in my top 3 already.
I like the light output on the NICHIAs as far as color temp and output, however the side light is more of a toy than useful in my line of work. I need a light that can mount inside of an electronic panel so I can see to wire it up. The side LEDs fall way short of any usable output. I went with the Sofirn IF23 PRO for the side LED brightness. The color RGB are about the same brightness on both lights. This is a very compact light as you can see in the pics. Run time is great too. controls are about the same between both lights. I take the batteries out of all my flashlights and charge them with something more precise. I keep 8 of the 18650 in a pouch along with 6 of the 21700 batteries as I’m using the lights 8 hours at a time
I fell in love at first sight and watched many review videos before purchasing it. I bought it and I understood. It was definitely a good product.
The SK05 Pro has taken over my collection!! I can’t say enough good things about it!! Flood and throw in the same package is a huge plus for me, not to mention the fact it will run on one or two batteries! I have a headlamp that I leave in my truck for work and it runs on an 18350 battery but has an 18650 tube with it and I’ve had to pull a battery out of my SK05 Pro three different times now and used a battery in my headlamp. The people at Loop seem to be very nice and always respond within a reasonable time. I foresee the Loopgear brand exceeding all my expectations and possibly taking over the flashlight world!! I would highly recommend the SK05 Pro as that’s the only one I own currently but need the stainless SK03 next just for a backup. Oh I forgot to mention I really enjoy the A03 (holster) for the SK05 Pro so make sure to grab it while you’re ordering yours!!
